PF Number Kaise Nikale – Step by Step Guide

Your PF Number, technically known as the Member ID, is a unique 22-character alphanumeric code assigned to you by your employer when they enroll you in the EPFO scheme. Every time you change a job, a new PF Number is generated and linked to your main UAN.

Method 1: Check your Payslip (Salary Slip)

The easiest way to find your PF Number is on your monthly salary slip provided by your employer. It is usually listed under the "Employee Details" or "Deductions" section next to your UAN or Bank Account number.

Method 2: Find it via UAN Member Portal

  1. Log in to the EPFO Member e-Sewa portal using your UAN and Password.
  2. Go to the "View" tab and select "Service History".
  3. Here, you will see a list of all employers you have worked for, along with the specific Member ID (PF Number) associated with each establishment.

Method 3: Ask your HR Department

If you do not have your payslip and your UAN is not activated, you can simply contact your company's HR or payroll department. They maintain a record of all PF deductions and the corresponding Member IDs.
