The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has frequently refreshed its main portal (epfindia.gov.in / epfo.gov.in) to enhance user experience. Finding where to check your passbook can be confusing if you are seeing the layout for the first time.

How to Check PF Balance on the New Portal

1. Go to the official website: www.epfindia.gov.in
2. On the homepage, look at the top navigation bar or the right-side banners.
3. Click on "e-Passbook".
4. You will be redirected to logical URL: passbook.epfindia.gov.in
5. Enter your UAN, Password, and solve the Math Captcha.
6. Click 'Log In'.
7. Select the relevant Member ID (if you worked in multiple companies, you will have multiple IDs).
8. View or instantly download the PDF version of your passbook.

Other Ways to Check Balance

Besides the new website passbook section, you can also use:

• UMANG App: Download the UMANG app on your phone, search for EPFO, and click on 'View Passbook'.
• Missed Call: Give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number.
• SMS: Send SMS `EPFOHO UAN ENG` to 7738299899.
