OLD PF Number Kaise Nikale UAN Se

If you have worked in multiple companies, you might have left some balance in your old PF accounts. To transfer that balance to your current active account, you need the "Old Member ID" (Old PF Number). If you've lost your old salary slips, here is how you can find it using just your UAN.

Steps to Find Old PF Number using UAN

  1. Visit the UAN Member e-Sewa Portal online.
  2. Enter your UAN, Password, and solve the Captcha to log in.
  3. On the top menu bar, click on the 'View' menu.
  4. From the dropdown list, select 'Service History'.

Understanding the Service History Output

The Service History page displays a neat table containing all your past employers that linked their PF contribution to your UAN. Look for the column named Member ID. This is your PF number for that specific company.

  • Note down the Member ID for the old company where you wish to transfer funds from.
  • The page also shows your Date of Joining (DOJ) and Date of Exit (DOE), which are necessary for online PF transfers.
Crucial Step: Ensure that your old employer has marked your Date of Exit (DOE). Without the DOE marked correctly in your old Member ID, EPFO will reject any transfer claims.
